Over the years I’ve had some unusual and interesting jobs. I spent some time in the London TV prop studios working for the Two Ronnies and Noel Edmonds shows. And then I’d rush home to see them that same evening on my own TV.

Another time I worked at a local primary school running a two week work shop. I talked to the children and showed them some of my work, and demonstrated how to sign write using a mahl stick. Together with some of the children we produced a collage that was put up in the playground. Initially I was terrified of working with young children, but it was an experience I’ll never forget.

Reproducing the BP logo onto two 65 foot high tanks, one at The Isle of Grain refinery and one at Heathrow airport, was quite a challenging task. I had to scale the logo onto the tanks while they were surrounded by scaffolding.
